Car audio system in which there is an electronic component and installation must undergo a process of degradation. In fact, it is not possible due to damage to the parts that use a less precise way up weaknesses on their own products.
There are 14 signs that can be said to be a problem on the audio system, as stated Andreas Tjahjadi (installer Audio Plus in West Jakarta), Erwin (installer Radius Mobile Works), and Hongyono Chandra (audio installer Artery Prisma in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta).
1. Battery voltage drop due to reduced capacity of battery acid. Problems can also occur due to the charging terminal (ground) loose or less filling. As a result, electricity supplies disrupted.
2. Terminal / head causing a lack of crusty battery voltage and can make the system disrupted. In addition, the main fuse (main fuse) to melt under the influence of the engine compartment due to the heat shield that also melted.
3. Damage to the CD player. It is characterized by the process of reading the CD a bit long, and even tended to be silent (or skip) before entering the tracks. The problem was triggered using a CD that does not fit the standard thickness.
4. Volume keys. Head unit sometimes works, sometimes not. If so, then it is characterized by a flexible cable that broke on the inside.
5. RCA cable ground breaking on the inside of the head unit. This makes storing symptoms (noise) from the speakers.
6. The sound cracked (crackle-crackle) in speakers. There was dirt in between the voice coil and magnet.
7. Sound lame. Sound heavier to one side because one of the midrange or tweeter speaker dies. The reason, the solder on the connector detached speakers.
8. Speaker smoky. There was an electric short circuit between the speaker cable (for connection to rust) to the ground so that the voice coil heat. As we know, in case of short circuit on the speaker, this condition will affect the power performance, even lead to malfunction if the power amplifier is not equipped with short circuit protection.
9. Tweeter damage. In this case, the high tone gradually became clip (cracked). These problems can occur because of the weather due to the sun often highlighted.Such conditions can make the diaphragm tweeter becomes brittle.
10. Subwoofer death total as a voice coil on fire due to overpower.
11. Distortion. This usually appears on the subwoofer when it coincided with the sound of bass. Problem arises because a suspension subwoofer is weak or there is dirt between the voice coil and magnet.
12. Damage to the potentiometer in the power lead voice on the speaker-sided.
13. Sound occur "jedug" when the system is enabled or disabled. This occurs because there is damage to the power components.
14. Because there is damage to the power, the cone on the speaker "glaring" when the system is enabled. That is, out of power is a DC current (supposed to be AC).This is because the solder on the PCB board or it could be caused by loose dirt.
